“Tangled worth” by @violahug

I used to silently judge people when they said they’d be happy with a small home, and a comfortable life. I used to think it was sad. That they just never were taught how to dream. That they never realized their potentiality and the limitless opportunity of the world we live in. Little did I know their reality was much more wholesome than mine was. for they learned to be happy despite what society told them, and my worth was still tangled in the depths of a capitalistic system that indoctrinates us from a young age to believe what we achieve is who we are.
